Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure disposable Caesarean section drapes that meet specified quality and safety standards for use at GJ Crookes Hospital. The procurement aims to ensure sterile, efficient surgical environments while reducing the risk of surgical site infections.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of sterile, single-use disposable Caesarean section drapes with detailed specifications including size, material, safety features, components, and quality standards. The procurement covers the delivery of the required quantity (e.g., 10 boxes of 10 units each) to GJ Crookes Hospital within the specified contract period, which is once-off. The scope also includes compliance with technical standards, sample submission, and adherence to procurement procedures.

Technical Requirements

• Size: 210cm x 300cm to 150cm x 250cm, sterile, single-use.
• Material: Non-woven, 5-layer laminated for high barrier strength, with features such as integrated transparent fluid collection pouch, adhesive fenestration (approx. 31cm x 18.5cm), and cord/cable holders.
• Safety: Fluid repellent with hydrostatic head, flame-resistant, low-linting, hypoallergenic.
• Components: Set to include a table cover, mayo stand cover, and extra soft baby drape.
• Standards: Conformance to specified quality standards and specifications attached in the procurement documentation.
