Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and deliver Louisvale Water Treatment Chemicals to the Kimberley Regional Office of the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. The aim is to ensure the supply of specified water treatment chemicals in a timely and compliant manner to support water treatment operations in the region.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of purchasing and delivery services for water treatment chemicals, specifically Aluminium Sulphate, Chlorine Granules, Lime, and Chlorine Tablets.
• Delivery to the specified address: 24 Mamba Street, Group 23, Louisvale, Upington.
• Ensuring chemicals meet specified expiry periods (3-4 years after delivery).
• Compliance with all relevant procurement, legal, and technical requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Delivery of specified quantities of each chemical item as per the bill of quantities.
• Chemicals must comply with the specifications provided, including expiry dates (3-4 years post-delivery).
• Offer must specify country of origin and confirm compliance with specifications.
• All delivery costs must be included in the bid price.
• Offer validity period of 84 days from the closing date.
• Completion of the firm price schedule (PA-30.1) with detailed item descriptions, quantities, and amounts.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Demonstrated ability to supply and deliver specified chemicals in accordance with technical specifications.
