Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a service for conducting particle count tests on three theatres at Manguzi Hospital, scheduled every three months over a 12-month period. The aim is to ensure the cleanliness and sterility standards of the theatres are maintained through regular testing.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Performing particle count tests on three theatres at Manguzi Hospital.
• Testing to be conducted quarterly over a 12-month period, totaling four tests per theatre.
• Provision of all necessary equipment, materials, and technical expertise required to carry out the tests.
• Adherence to specified standards and compliance with relevant regulations and specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Conducting particle count tests in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
• Using CIDB minimum grade: 1ME for servicing particle counters.
• Providing proof of previous experience and successful completion of similar particle count testing services.
• Ensuring tests are performed on three theatres, every three months, over a 12-month period.
• Submitting reports and documentation confirming successful execution of each test.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Proven experience in performing particle count testing in healthcare or sterile environments.
• Technical expertise in operating particle counting equipment and interpreting results.
• Ability to provide proof of previous successful testing projects.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as SANAS/SABS specifications.
• Competence in preparing detailed reports and documentation for each testing cycle.
