  • Exit from the programme after five years or upon project cycle completion, with provisions for early exit under certain conditions.
  • The programme covers civil engineering scope of work for contractors from Grade 5 to Grade 9.

Contractors must:

  • Be registered in the CIDB Civil Engineering class for grades 5CE to 9CE.

  • Ownership and management structures compliant with B-BBEE ownership criteria, with preference for black ownership, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and military veterans.
  • Capability to undertake health and safety management, including submission of safety plans.
  • Qualified key personnel with relevant experience and professional registration where applicable.
  • Good standing with tax authorities, evidenced by valid tax compliance certificates.
  • Demonstrated history of participation in contractor development programmes or similar initiatives.
