Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to outsource a service provider responsible for the supply and delivery of 15 complete Warrior Tents (5m x 10m), Weather Haven type, for the Department of Defence's 18 Deployment Support Unit. The aim is to ensure the procurement of high-quality tents that meet specified technical standards for deployment support activities.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the supply, delivery, and potentially the installation of:

• 15 Warrior Tents measuring 5 meters by 10 meters each, complete with necessary panels and accessories.
• Steel packing crates for transportation and storage.
• Electrical kits including standard warrior electrical components, air conditioner harnesses, and steel crates for electrical equipment.
• Air conditioning units (24,000 BTU inverter split units), including steel packing crates, adjustable stands, and internal PVC floor tiles.
• Additional components such as end panels with lockable doors, plain panels with windows, and steel crates for electrical and air conditioning equipment.

The scope also includes compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements as detailed in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the supply include:

• Warrior tents of size 16" x 32" (4.88 x 9.6 meters), with one lockable hard door and one plain panel with windows.
• Steel packing crates for tents, electrical kits, and air conditioning units.
• Electrical kits comprising RSA standard electrical components and harnesses.
• Air conditioning units with inverter split technology, 24,000 BTU capacity, and associated piping and stands.
• Internal PVC floor tiles matching the tent dimensions.

All items must conform to the specified standards, including durability, safety, and compatibility with deployment conditions.
