Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver various surgical supplies, specifically re-advertised surgical items such as filters, breathing systems, and related equipment, to Victoria Mxenge Hospital under the Department of Health in KwaZulu-Natal.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of a total of 1725 units of surgical supplies, including paediatric and adult breathing systems, filters, and associated accessories, as specified in the detailed product descriptions. The procurement covers items required for anesthesia and ventilation during surgical procedures, with specific standards and specifications outlined for each product.

Technical Requirements

• Items must conform to specified standards such as ISO or equivalent.
• Products must meet detailed specifications including size, material, and functionality (e.g., minimal tidal volumes, electrostatic, bacterial and viral efficiency ≥99%, latex-free, single-use).
• Items should be sterile, individually packed, and suitable for single use.
• Clear labelling of catalogue number, batch code, manufacturing and expiry dates is required.
• All products must be compliant with the attached detailed specifications and quality standards.
• Samples must be submitted for evaluation prior to award, where specified.
• Delivery must be made to Victoria Mxenge Hospital, Gate 2, Corner of Rick Turner and Sydney Road, within the agreed timeframe.
• All packaging must prevent damage during transit and comply with special packaging requirements.

Skills Requirements
