BREEDE VALLEY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING PIPE SYSTEMS THROUGH
TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY FOR A PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2029
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 6CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who CIDB, prior to the tender closing time and evaluation of submissions, in a contractor grading
designation equal to or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value
determined in accordance with Regulation 25 (IB) or 25 (7A) of the Construction industry Development Regulations, for a 6CE class of
construction work, are eligible to have their tenders evaluated.
Only tenderers who are registered with the CIDB, prior to the tender closing time and evaluation of submissions, in a contractor grading
designation equal to or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value
determined in accordance with Regulation 25 (IB) or 25 (7A) of the Construction industry Development Regulations, for a 6CE class of
construction work, are eligible to have their tenders evaluated.
Joint ventures are eligible to submit tenders provided that:
1.every member of the joint venture is registered with the CIDB;
2.the lead partner has a contractor grading designation in the 6CE class of construction work;
3.the combined contractor grading designation calculated in accordance with the Construction Industry Development Board Regulations
is equal to or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered for an 6CE class of
construction work or a value determined in accordance with Regulation 25 (1B) or 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development
Regulations.
b)Who complies with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA). A valid letter of Good Standing issued by
the Department of Labour to be submitted with the tender under Schedule 2J.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R230.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

available upon request, free of charge, as the printing costs are for the bidder’s own account.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at SCM boardroom, Supply Chain Building, 51B
Baring Street, Worcester, GPS Co-ordinates: 33°38'37.23"S, 19°26'42.60"E. on 30 June 2026 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
