Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver enzymatic cleaner in 3.8L containers to Rietvlei Hospital, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and procurement policies. The project aims to procure high-standard enzymatic cleaners suitable for surgical instruments and endoscopes, supporting hospital sterilization processes.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply and delivery of enzymatic cleaners (3.8L) as specified in the technical and specification documents.
• Provision of products that meet registration with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specification (NRCS), ISO 9001 certification, and other relevant standards.
• Adherence to detailed specifications regarding size, pH neutrality, enzyme content, and packaging.
• Compliance with delivery requirements, including packaging, documentation, and timely submission to Rietvlei Hospital security gate.
• Provision of samples if required, and full completion of all documentation including annexures and declaration forms.

Technical Requirements

The enzymatic cleaner must:

• Be registered with the NRCS and include compliance certificates and ISO 9001 certification.
• Contain amylase, lipase, and protease enzymes, suitable for surgical instruments and endoscopes.
• Have a neutral pH and be supplied as a concentrate with specified dilution instructions.
• Be available in sizes ranging from 2.5 to 5 liters.
• Meet high-quality standards and conform to the specifications provided in Annexure A.
• Be supplied in units, with no deviations from the specified packaging and product standards.

Skills Requirements

Procuring entities and bidders must demonstrate:

• Understanding of technical specifications and compliance requirements for medical cleaning products.
• Ability to provide certified documentation including NRCS registration, ISO 9001, and proof of product registration.
• Capacity to supply products that meet quality standards and specifications without deviations.
• Experience in handling and delivering medical-grade cleaning chemicals within hospital environments.
• Competence in completing and submitting all required documentation, annexures, and declarations accurately and on time.
• Knowledge of hospital procurement procedures, safety, and compliance standards.
