Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Kerlix anti-microbial bandage rolls for Grey’s Hospital to ensure the availability of sterile, high-quality wound dressings containing polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) for use in burn patients and other relevant medical applications.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of 5 boxes of Kerlix anti-microbial bandage rolls (6 ply, 11.4cm x 3.7m, sterile) to Grey’s Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement process involves submission of quotations, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to departmental procurement policies. The contract is a once-off purchase, with the possibility of technical evaluation through sample submission and preference point allocation based on BBBEE status and other criteria.

Technical Requirements

• Product Description: Kerlix anti-microbial bandage roll, 6 ply, sterile, containing PHMB (Ref. 3332).
• Size and Packaging: 11.4cm x 3.7m, 100 units per box, sterile.
