Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 2000 units of Pump Infusion Sets (273 303E) for Ngwelezane Hospital to ensure the availability of essential medical supplies in accordance with specified standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of the specified infusion sets, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with procurement policies. The procurement is a once-off contract for the delivery of the infusion sets to Ngwelezane Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, within the stipulated timeframe and conditions.

• Warranty: Minimum 12 months warranty against defects
• Pricing: Must be firm and inclusive of VAT where applicable

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate capability to supply medical infusion sets that meet national standards and specifications
• Ability to provide samples for evaluation if requested
• Compliance with procurement policies, including preference points and BBBEE requirements
• Provision of relevant documentation such as SARS PIN, VAT registration, and CSD registration
• Experience in supplying medical devices to government health facilities
• Capacity to deliver within the specified timeframe and handle logistics for bulk supply
• Technical knowledge of infusion set specifications and quality standards
