Objectives

Scope

The scope of work includes providing calibration services for various test equipment used at Hendrina Power Station. This encompasses conducting calibration, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The contractor must also adhere to site-specific environmental management plans, safety procedures, and waste management protocols.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of calibration services for test equipment as specified in the contract.
• Implementation of environmental management plans and emergency preparedness plans, including protocols for oil/chemical spills and disasters.
• Maintenance of registers for hazardous substances and waste generated.
• Provision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proof of training for personnel involved in significant activities.
• Submission of method statements, procedures, work instructions, and approved contractual documents.
• Compliance with relevant permits, authorisations, and licenses such as waste transporter and waste site licenses.
• Development and adherence to waste management and spill response procedures.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified personnel with demonstrated skills and training in calibration activities.
