Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 50 boxes of Elbow Length Cuff Gloves (XL size) that meet specified safety and quality standards for use in transporting highly contagious patients, thereby preventing cross-contamination.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of high-risk elbow length cuff gloves, manufactured from synthetic rubber, in accordance with detailed specifications. The gloves are intended for use by the Umgungundlovu District Office's EMS services, with a one-time contract period. The procurement covers all related logistics, documentation, and compliance requirements as specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Manufactured from extra thick synthetic rubber.
• Ambidextrous design with straight fingers and textured surface all over fingers.
• Beaded cuff for secure fit.
• Palm width approximately 10.7 cm; length between 35-45 cm.
• Thickness between 3.5 to 5.0 mils to prevent tearing when handling sharp needles.
• Size: Extra Large.
• Color: Blue.
• Packaged as boxes containing 50 pieces each.
• Compliance with high-quality standards and specifications outlined in Annexure A.
• Samples must be provided for evaluation and testing.

Skills Requirements
