Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply cleaning consumables to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in KwaZulu-Natal. The aim is to ensure the availability of essential cleaning products such as washing powders, disinfectants, air fresheners, stain removers, scourers, cleaning cloths, and dusters, meeting specified standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope includes the supply, delivery, and offloading of specified cleaning consumables as detailed in the attached specifications. The items required encompass various cleaning and disinfecting products, with quantities and specific descriptions provided in the annexure. The delivery is to be made to the designated address at Cedara by the proposed delivery date of 15 August 2026.

Technical Requirements

• Suppliers must supply products that comply with the specifications outlined in the attached document.
• Products must meet SABS specifications and be inspected accordingly.
• Delivery must occur within the stipulated period after the initial order.
• Pricing must be inclusive of VAT (for registered VAT vendors) and be firm for the validity period.
• Items must be stored at the supplier’s physical address as indicated in the submission.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• Compliance with BBBEE certification or Sworn Affidavit to confirm black ownership and empowerment status.
• Relevant experience in supplying cleaning consumables and meeting technical specifications.
• Ability to deliver within the specified delivery period and maintain quality standards.
• Provision of valid CSD registration and tax compliance documentation.
• Capacity to provide the required quantities and handle logistics efficiently.
