Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 100 units of hospital outpatient consulting room registers for RK Khan Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The aim is to ensure the hospital is equipped with standardized, durable, and compliant registers to facilitate effective outpatient record management.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of the specified outpatient consulting room registers, adhering to detailed specifications provided by the Department of Health. The procurement covers the entire process from quotation submission, evaluation, to delivery of the registers to RK Khan Hospital. The registers are intended for daily use in outpatient departments, with specific design, content, and quality requirements.

Technical Requirements

• 100 units of outpatient consulting room registers.
• Hard, thick, and durable cardboard covers on both sides, printed in full color with gloss finish.
• Size: 420mm x 297mm (A3 size).
• 300 pages, printed on both sides in black and white, with pages numbered.
• Two-page spread layout with content continuing across pages.
• Binding: Strong, flexible two-sided glued binding with reinforced inside pages, suitable for daily use.
• Cover and inside demographic writings to be provided in soft copy for printing.
• Final approval of the draft by the Provincial Data Management before bulk printing.

Skills and Requirements

• Valid BBBEE certification.
• Sworn affidavit or certificate of compliance.
• SanAS accreditation or logo.
• Ability to produce high-quality printed materials adhering to specified design and content standards.
• Experience in printing durable, professional-grade hospital registers or similar documentation.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including submission on official forms and timely delivery.
• Provision of soft copies and samples for approval prior to mass production.
• Capacity to meet deadlines and deliver within the specified contract period.
