The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver four (4) First Aid Contents and six (6) Fire Blankets to the Alrode Operations Depot of Transnet Pipelines. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of essential safety equipment in accordance with regulatory standards.
The scope of work includes the one-time supply and delivery of the following items to the specified location:
The delivery must be completed at the Alrode Operations Depot located at No 35 Garfield Road, Alrode, Alberton, adhering to Regulation 7. The work is a single, non-recurring purchase.
The technical specifications for the items are as follows:
The work involves a one-off supply, with the delivery scheduled during working hours from 07:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, unless alternative arrangements are made with the Transnet Pipelines representative.
The service provider must submit the necessary documentation demonstrating their capability to supply the specified equipment. Since this is a straightforward supply of equipment/items, a competency file is not required. The provider should have the capacity to deliver quality safety equipment in accordance with specified standards and regulations.
