Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 10 units of foetal dolls and 2 units of Doppler devices for Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital, ensuring compliance with specified standards, policies, and procurement regulations.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of the specified medical equipment (foetal dolls and Doppler units) to Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital within a once-off contract period. The procurement process includes submission, evaluation, and awarding of the quotation, adhering to departmental policies and regulations.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 10 foetal dolls with placenta.
• Supply of 2 Doppler units.
• Compliance with attached specifications and standards as detailed in the evaluation documentation.
• Brochure submission on the closing date.
• Items must be new, unused, and of current models, free from defects, and conform to SANAS/SABS specifications.
• Delivery to the specified hospital address with appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Provision of warranty for 12 months post-delivery or 18 months post-shipment, covering defects arising from design, materials, or workmanship.
• Submission of samples if required, and adherence to the technical specifications provided in Annexure A.
