Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Haemoglobemeter Test Strips (VIVA) for St Andrews Hospital to ensure accurate and reliable haemoglobin testing capabilities.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of 300 boxes of Haemoglobemeter Test Strips (VIVA, box of 50) to St Andrews Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement is a once-off requirement, with a validity period of 60 days from the date of advertisement.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 300 boxes of Haemoglobemeter Test Strips (VIVA, box of 50).
• Test strips must conform to the specifications outlined in the attached documentation (specification documents to be confirmed by the bidder).
• Samples may be required for verification; failure to submit samples may result in disqualification.
• Ownership certificates issued by CIPC, BBBEE certificates, and Sworn Affidavits are mandatory.
• Compliance with relevant standards (SANS/SABS) and specifications is required.
• Delivery must be within the agreed period, with proper packing to prevent damage during transit.
• All prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• Bidder must provide valid ownership certificates, BBBEE verification certificates, and CSD compliance reports.
• Certified identity copies of directors or shareholders are required to support specific goals claims.
• Technical competence demonstrated through prior experience or verification by specialist doctors or relevant authorities.
• Bidder must complete all mandatory forms, including the Standard Quote Document, Declaration of Interest (SBD 4), and Preference Points Claim Form (SBD 6.1).
• Understanding of procurement policies, including the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022, and compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
