Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure Mask Airways Laryngeal Disposables, Humidifiers, and related airway management devices in various sizes to support healthcare delivery at St Chads CHC. The procurement aims to ensure the availability of high-quality, latex-free airway devices that meet specified standards, facilitating effective patient care and safety.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of disposable mask airways in sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, as well as sterile humidifier bottles containing water for inhalation with ports. The items are intended for use in clinical settings at St Chads CHC, with quantities specified per size and item type. The procurement includes the complete process from quotation, technical compliance, to delivery and installation if applicable.

Technical Requirements

• Mask Airways must be disposable, latex-free, and conform to specified standards.
• Sizes required: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
• Features include:
  • Clear tube to allow fluid action or early detection
  • Classic cuff shape
  • Size-specific dimensions as per attached specifications
• Humidifier bottles must be sterile, contain water for inhalation, and include ports for connection.
• All items must meet the quality standards approved by the end-user and comply with relevant SANAS/SABS specifications.
• Items should be packaged appropriately for transit and storage, with samples available if required.
