Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to execute comprehensive stormwater management works along Oaks to Finale Road. This includes the installation, construction, and rehabilitation of drainage systems, earthworks, pavement layers, road infrastructure, signage, and ancillary facilities to ensure effective stormwater control and road safety.

Scope

The scope encompasses a wide range of activities including:

• Exposing, handling, and relocating existing services
• Provision of community liaison, training, and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Construction of site offices, laboratories, and site facilities
• Traffic accommodation and management during construction
• Clearing, grubbing, and earthworks including cut, fill, and rock excavation
• Construction of drains, culverts, manholes, and associated structures
• Pavement construction with gravel layers, stabilization, and asphalt surfacing
• Installation of gabions, road signs, markings, and other road infrastructure
• Finishing works including road dressing and signage support
• Testing, quality assurance, and project management activities

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify adherence to standards and detailed specifications for:

• Exposing, handling, and relocating existing services with prov sums and percentage charges
• Provision of community liaison officers and training with provisional sums and handling costs
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations, including submission of health and safety files
• Construction of site facilities, including offices, laboratories, furniture, and equipment
• Traffic management measures such as temporary deviations, signage, and safety equipment
• Earthworks involving excavation, backfilling, and stabilization using specified materials and methods
• Construction of drainage systems including open drains, culverts, manholes, and outlet structures
• Pavement construction with gravel layers, stabilization, asphalt surfacing, and associated patching
• Installation of road infrastructure such as kerbing, channelling, and signage supports
• Testing of materials and workmanship as per specified standards

Skills Requirements

The tender requires contractors to demonstrate:
