Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage qualified and experienced service providers to undertake specific projects for the Johannes Phumani Phungula Municipality. These projects include upgrading roads, renovating and maintaining workshop facilities, and providing various services such as air conditioning maintenance and banking services.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses the following projects:

• Upgrading of Ngxavovo Road in Ward 03
• Upgrading of Dladla Road in Ward 03
• Renovation and maintenance of the workshop facility
• Supply, installation, repairs, service, and maintenance of air conditioning units on municipality-owned properties for 36 months
• Provision of banking services, including fleet management and cash-in-transit solutions for 60 months

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• For the upgrading projects, bidders must have a CIDB grading of 5CE or higher.
• For the renovation project, a CIDB grading of 2GB is required, with a minimum functionality score of 70.
• For other services, no specific technical grading is mandated, but bidders must demonstrate relevant experience and capability.
• All tender documents must be sealed, endorsed with the bid description and number, and submitted in accordance with the specified procedures.

Skills Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Relevant technical expertise and experience in road upgrading, renovation, HVAC maintenance, and banking services.
• Ability to meet the CIDB grading requirements for construction projects.
• Capacity to deliver services over the specified contract periods (36 months for air conditioning, 60 months for banking services).
• Compliance with procurement procedures and ability to provide necessary documentation and certifications.
