Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a major service to Boiler No.3 at Madadeni Hospital for a 36-month contract, ensuring the boiler's optimal maintenance, inspection, repair, and operational readiness.

Scope

The scope includes comprehensive maintenance, inspection, overhaul, repair, and testing of Boiler No.3, including associated components such as valves, refractory, fire tubes, and auxiliary systems like feed pumps, fans, and control instruments. The work encompasses boiler cleaning, pressure testing, valve overhaul, refractory recasting, and operational commissioning, along with site clearance and disposal of debris.

Technical Requirements

• Perform thorough internal and external cleaning, acid washing, and inspection of boiler internals and fire tubes.
• Remove, inspect, overhaul, and test all boiler valves using OEM parts, including pressure testing at 1.25x design pressure.
• Recast refractory on ignition and secondary arches, and repair or replace damaged brickwork and insulation.
• Conduct comprehensive boiler inspection, including MPI, ultrasonic thickness measurement, crack detection, and hydraulic pressure testing by a third-party inspector.
• Replace lagging, cladding, and other insulation components as necessary.
• Inspect and repair auxiliary systems such as feed water pumps, ID fans, dampers, and control instruments.
• Test and commission the boiler, ensuring safety valves, protection systems, and operational controls are functional.
• Remove all debris and waste from the site and dispose of accordingly.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified boiler technicians with experience in industrial boiler maintenance, repair, and inspection.
• Certified welders and refractory specialists for recasting and structural repairs.
• Authorized OEM valve overhaul and testing personnel.
• Third-party inspectors certified in boiler safety and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as MPI and ultrasonic testing.
• Skilled electrical and mechanical technicians for auxiliary system repairs and control calibration.
• Competent project managers and site supervisors with experience in hospital boiler systems and safety compliance.
