Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver concentrate enzymatic all-in-one detergent that is suitable for cleaning surgical instruments. Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of 18 units of the specified enzymatic detergent to St Apollinaris Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement is a once-off contract, with the products targeted specifically at enterprises based in KwaZulu-Natal province. The delivery must meet the technical specifications outlined, including compliance with relevant standards and safety data sheet requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Supply and deliver concentrate enzymatic all-in-one detergent in 5-litre units (total of 18 units).
• The detergent must be capable of presoaking and cleaning surgical instruments without corrosion.
• It must kill a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
• Product must be SABS approved or meet equivalent quality standards.
• Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) must be attached with the quotation.
• The product should be suitable for hospital sterilization processes and comply with safety and quality standards.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying hospital-grade cleaning and sterilization products.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., SABS/SANS).
• Ability to provide technical data sheets and support documentation.
• Capacity to deliver the specified quantity within the required timeframe.
• Demonstrated compliance with procurement policies, including preference for local KwaZulu-Natal enterprises.
