Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure CIDEX OPA Solution Test Strips to test the efficacy of CIDEX OPA High Level Disinfectant, ensuring compliance with health standards and regulatory approvals.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of CIDEX OPA Solution Test Strips in the specified packaging (Box/30) to Dr Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Memorial Hospital. The procurement covers the testing of disinfectant efficacy, adhering to specified standards, and providing samples for evaluation if required.

Technical Requirements

• Test strips must be CIDEX OPA solution test strips, form type, with results waiting time of 90 seconds.
• Test strips must change colour when used and be SAHPRA approved.
• Packaging should be in units of Box/30.
• Samples must be provided if specified, and the product must comply with the detailed specifications, including size, colour, and material.
• Items must meet the quality standards specified and be compliant with SABS/SANS approvals.
• Test strips should be suitable for testing the efficacy of high-level disinfectants in a healthcare setting.

Skills Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to:

• Supply products that meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Provide samples for testing and evaluation upon request.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper packaging of the test strips.
• Comply with health authority approvals and regulatory requirements (SAHPRA).
• Provide relevant documentation, including proof of SAHPRA approval and certification.
• Maintain clear communication with the procurement department and adhere to submission deadlines.
