The primary objective is to procure and deliver high-quality ladies' morning gowns and slippers to fulfill municipal operational or event-related needs. The process aims to achieve cost-effective procurement, ensure timely delivery, and maintain compliance with municipal supply chain management policies while supporting registered local suppliers.
The scope encompasses the complete supply and delivery of one hundred (100) ladies' morning gowns and one hundred (100) pairs of ladies' slippers. This includes sourcing, quality inspection, packaging, transportation, and final handover to designated municipal facilities within the agreed timeframe. The procurement follows a Request for Quotation (RFQ) methodology, indicating a streamlined process focused on competitive pricing and basic compliance for standardized goods.
While detailed specifications are contained within the official RFQ documentation, bidders are expected to meet standard apparel industry benchmarks for fabric quality, stitching durability, colorfastness, and accurate sizing consistency. Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to produce or source uniform batches, comply with relevant national textile safety and labeling regulations, and provide proof of product conformity upon request. Delivery must align with municipal logistical requirements, including proper labeling, batch tracking, and condition verification upon receipt.
Bidders must possess demonstrated experience in bulk apparel procurement or manufacturing, inventory control, and last-mile logistics coordination. Proficiency in navigating municipal e-procurement platforms and completing digital vendor registrations is essential. Strong project management capabilities are required to synchronize production schedules, manage quality assurance protocols, and guarantee on-time delivery. Additionally, suppliers must maintain financial viability, possess up-to-date regulatory compliance certificates, and demonstrate reliable after-sales support or replacement handling if defective items are identified post-delivery.
The quotation window opens on 28 August 2026 and closes strictly at 11:00 AM on 01 September 2026. Any submissions received after the stipulated deadline, whether via electronic portal or physical tender box, will be automatically disqualified. All quotations must be fully completed, accurately priced, and accompanied by the required returnable company documentation. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.

Most large tenders are composed of tasks in a number of different fields, and it is not always possible for a single company to cater for all of them, and therefore Joint Ventures and Consortia are formed to then submit a tender together.
Government tenders are also requiring the subcontracting of a percentage of the tender work, and the trouble is then finding Subcontractors to comply with the tender requirements
To assist companies with finding tender partners and subcontractors, you can now submit your contact details and company information on this page, so other interested parties can contact you for purposes of forming Joint Ventures and subcontracting
