Scope

The tender covers a once-off supply and delivery of the following items to designated health centres:

Technical Requirements

• Janitorial Trolleys: Must be castor-mounted for smooth mobility, feature a sealed refuse bag holder to contain odours and spillage, and include three tiered shelves. The top shelf must be sunken to secure spray containers, while middle and lower shelves require side rails. Integrated hooks must be present to fasten mop handles during transit. The base must extend beyond shelves to accommodate two heavy-duty buckets. A two-year warranty on all components is mandatory.
• Cleaning Buckets: Heavy-duty plastic construction with a rectangular profile to fit trolley dimensions. Strict colour-coding is required: red for toilet areas, blue for clinical/service areas, green for bathrooms/consulting rooms, and white for general ward use. Includes a one-year warranty.
• Mopping Units & Accessories: 50-litre double-bucket systems with functional wringers; 1-litre plastic spray bottles.
• General Standards: All items must be brand new, unused, and commercially current. Products must have a minimum shelf-life of six months post-delivery. Compliance with relevant South African National Standards (SANS/SABS) is required. Physical samples may be requested from the top three evaluated bidders for verification; failure to meet specifications results in disqualification or re-advertisement.
