• SABS/SANS Approval: Mandatory certification confirming the paper meets South African national quality, safety, and performance standards for office use.
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD): National government registry where all bidders must be actively registered and verified to qualify for consideration.
• General & Special Conditions of Contract (GCC/SCC): Standard public sector terms governing delivery schedules, penalty calculations for delays (calculated at the current prime interest rate per day), warranty periods (12 months post-delivery), inspection rights, and termination clauses for non-compliance or fraudulent practices.
