Scope of Work

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and execute repairs for any mechanical or electrical faults.
• Conduct all activities within the specified municipal facility in Mthatha.
• Fulfill contractual obligations for a fixed duration of five months.

Technical Requirements

• Demonstrate competency in industrial-grade generator systems, including fuel, cooling, exhaust, and electrical control components.
• Utilize calibrated diagnostic tools and adhere to manufacturer specifications for servicing intervals.
• Comply with all occupational health and safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards.
• Maintain detailed service logs, fault reports, and completion certificates for audit purposes.
• Ensure rapid response capabilities to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted power supply to critical operations.

Skills Requirements

• Employ certified technicians with formal qualifications in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or accredited generator maintenance programs.
• Hold valid trade certifications or licenses relevant to high-voltage electrical work and diesel engine servicing.
• Exhibit proven experience in executing similar generator maintenance contracts within public sector environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in inventory management for spare parts and consumables required for timely repairs.
