• Warranty: A twelve-month warranty applies from the date of delivery, covering defects in design, materials, or workmanship. Defective items must be repaired or replaced at the supplier’s cost.
• Penalties & Termination: Delayed deliveries incur penalties calculated at the prime interest rate per day. The purchaser reserves the right to terminate the contract for default, non-compliance, or fraudulent practices, potentially resulting in a ten-year restriction from public sector contracts.
• Compliance Mandates: Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), possess a valid tax clearance status verified via SARS PIN, and submit a sworn affidavit or B-BBEE certificate. Failure to meet any administrative or compulsory requirement results in immediate disqualification.
