Skills and Personnel Requirements

• Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and verified trade test results for all qualified technicians.
• Valid Gas Licenses for all personnel handling refrigerants. Note: A Gas License is a statutory certification required in South Africa to legally handle, recover, and recharge pressurised refrigerant gases, ensuring environmental and workplace safety compliance.
• Evidence of organisational capacity, including past performance records, current workload commitments, and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Local capability demonstration: Bidders must provide documentation proving manufacturing or servicing operations within KwaZulu-Natal to qualify for twenty (20) specific goal points. Note: The Preference Points System is a standard South African public procurement mechanism that awards additional evaluation points to historically disadvantaged individuals, black-owned enterprises, or businesses contributing to specified regional economic development goals.
