ALFRED NZO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR 1.PANEL OF CONTRACTORS FOR CIVIL WORKS
CONSTRUCTION, REFURBISHMENT AND REPLACEMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A PERIOD
OF A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 3CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who submit bids for the following project
Only tenderers who Bids are invited from suitably qualified service providers to prepare and submit proposals to undertake the civil
works construction, refurbishment and replacement of water infrastructure.
NB: A compulsory briefing session will be held to clarify the Scope of Work with prospective bidders.
The scope entails below civil works:
•Construction and refurbishment of pump station.
•Construction, refurbishment and replacement of canals, dams, sewage systems, and structural components of buildings.
•Construction and refurbishment of rising main and or gravity mains
•Construction and refurbishment of steel storage tanks and RC reservoirs
•Construction and refurbishment of distribution networks and
•Communal stand taps
•Construction, Refurbishment and replacement of boreholes with pump-system and power supply
•Construction, refurbishment and replacement of pipe fittings
•Construction, refurbishment and replacment of chambers and pipe markers
Pressure testing and commissioning
are eligible to submit tenders.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
The bid documents are available at a non-refundable cost (VAT inclusive) to be collected at the supply Chain Management Office, Erf
1400 Ntsizwa Street, EMaxesibeni, 4735. Payments for Bid Documents must be done on our Municipal Offices (Revenue) at Reception
or through Bank deposit at First National Bank, Account Number 62024932974 and Branch Code 210821. All bidders are required to
attach the proof of payment receipts on their document when submitting.
NB : All Bidders must note that any prospective priced below 5% of the value will not be considered.
