Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure professional registration and mentorship services with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) for technical services officials. The aim is to enhance the professional development and registration of officials involved in technical services within the Jozini Local Municipality.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Registration of technical officials with ECSA and SACPCMP.
• Provision of mentorship services for SACPCMP candidates.
• Verification and documentation of relevant professional registration and mentorship experience.
• Compliance with specified technical and administrative requirements as outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that service providers must:

• Complete and submit the required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD2, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Provide a valid tax clearance certificate or PIN.
• Provide proof of registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Show proof of payment of municipal rates/services and taxes not in arrears for more than 90 days or provide a lease agreement.
• Submit directors' ID copies and relevant professional registration certificates for SACPCMP mentors.
• Provide a company profile or brochure and evidence of relevant mentorship experience.
• Ensure that the mentorship record includes successful SACPCMP candidates mentored.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from service providers include:

• Professional registration with ECSA and SACPCMP for designated officials.
• Experience in mentorship of SACPCMP candidates.
• Ability to demonstrate relevant experience in technical registration and mentorship services.
• Capacity to meet administrative and documentation standards as specified in the tender.
