Objectives

The primary objective is to appoint a panel of two qualified service providers to supply refuse removal equipment on an ad-hoc basis over a twelve-month period. The municipality aims to secure reliable, cost-effective equipment hire services that support ongoing waste management operations while complying with national preferential procurement legislation.

Scope

The contract covers the hiring of refuse removal equipment as and when required by the Victor Khanye Local Municipality. Two providers will be placed on a standing panel, enabling the municipality to request equipment flexibly throughout the twelve-month term. Proposals will be evaluated using an 80/20 scoring system: 80 points allocated to price competitiveness and 20 points to targeted goals (transformation and B-BBEE compliance).

Technical Requirements

• Proven capacity to supply functional refuse removal equipment that meets municipal operational and safety standards.
• Mandatory submission of compliant documentation: valid Tax Clearance Certificate, company registration or personal ID copies, completed MBD forms (1, 2, 4, 6.1, 8, 9), and municipal account statements for the business and all directors (not older than three months at closing).
• Valid lease agreements where applicable.
• Active registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Tender validity of at least ninety working days from the closing date.
• Proper endorsement with the project number and description, submitted in sealed format before the deadline.
