DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE BLOEMFONTEIN INVITES TENDERS FOR APPOINTMENT OF A
SUITABLY QUALIFIED CONTRACTOR, JOINT VENTURE OR CONSORTIUM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF DINAANE CLINIC,
THABA NCHU.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7GB or higher.
Only tenderers who Provide Central Supplier Database`s MAAA number which will be used to verify valid tax compliance status of the
bidding entity. (Where Consortium / Joint Venture / Sub-contractors are involved, each party to the association must have a compliant
tax status, which will be confirmed at the time of award).
A valid proof of registration on the National Treasury`s Central Supplier`s Database must accompany this bid (where Consortium / Joint
Venture / Sub-contractors are involved, each party to the association must submit a separate or a unique security personal
Identification number).
•However, joint ventures, partnerships, including unincorporated partnerships must register on the CSD within 15 days of the date of bid
advert closing.
Potential Bidders must have a contractor registered at a CIDB contractor grading designation of 7GB or higher as part of their team.
(Must be active on the date of advert closing and a valid proof must be provided).
A Valid Letter of Good standing issued by the Department of Labour or any other accredited institution:
•Each bidder must provide proof of compliance with Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA).
Attach duly completed and signed SBD documents (SBD 1 and SBD 4)
Attach duly completed and signed Annexure A - Record of Addenda to tender documents.
Attach duly completed and signed Annexure B - Proposed amendments and qualifications.
Attach duly completed and signed Annexure D - Compulsory Declaration.
Main contractor is expected to sub-contract not less than 5% of their tendered contract value to targeted enterprises on CIDB grading
Level 01 to Level 04 in various categories of works as the implementation of the standard for indirect targeting for Enterprise
Development through construction works contracts, published in Gazette Notice No. 36190 of 25 February 2013. Bidders are expected
to complete the schedule of sub-contracting on page 57 of this bid document.
Complete and sign the Annual Financial Statements Declaration (Attach income statement and the balance sheet as support for the
declaration).
Attendance of the mandatory clarification meeting the details of which are listed in the tender notice and invitation.
All documents must be completed in writing with a black pen.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Erf 1/3403, Dinaane Clinic, Thaba Nchu on 28
November 2023 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
