XHARIEP DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR APPOINTMENT OF AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR VARIOUS
ELECTRIFICATION AND BULK STRENGTHENING PROJECTS IN XHARIEP DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY (TURNKEY)
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7EP or higher.
Only tenderers who Bid documents are available at non-refundable cash payment of R550.00 or alternatively
can be obtainable for free on National Treasury E-tender portal.
The 80/20 preference points system will be used for this bid.
Service providers to have Grade 7EP OR Higher.
Certified ID copies of the directors.
Functionality scoring will be applied.
Valid BBBEE certificate/Sworn Affidavit should be submitted to claim points.
Proof of (CSD) Central Supplier Database Registration must accompany the bid
document.
Tax Compliance Status pin must be submitted.
Proof of municipal rates and taxes not older than 90 days/lease agreement must be
attached (Fully signed by both parties involved).
No bid documents will be considered from a person in service of the state.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly stating the tender reference number.
The general conditions of contract will be applicable to this tender.
Each page of General Condition of a Contract “GCC” must be initialled by the service
provider.
Bids not fully completed and signed by the bidders will be rejected.
No correction fluid will be used on the document.
Bids received after closing TIME and/ or DATE will NOT be considered.
All bids that do not comply with the above conditions will be disqualified.
The bid with the lower/lowest price or higher/highest points may not necessarily be
accepted. are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Zastron, N0 1 Hoofd Street, Town Hall,
Mohokare Local Municipality on 09 October 2023 starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
