Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations from qualified service providers for the supply and delivery of line marking paint for turf sport fields within the Witzenberg Municipality area. The aim is to procure high-quality, water-based, lead-free, VOC-free, fast-drying, and high-coverage line marking paint suitable for all line marking machines, ensuring proper marking of turf sports fields across the municipality's towns and rural areas.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of white liquid line marking paint specifically formulated for turf sport fields.
• Delivery of the paint to the Parks Depot located at Dromedaris Street, Ceres, within the Witzenberg Municipal Area.
• Completion of previous experience documentation demonstrating capability in similar projects, with at least three projects of a combined value of R30,000.
• Adherence to technical specifications, including compliance with minimum requirements such as color, water-based formulation, lead-free, VOC-free, high coverage, and fast drying properties.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the line marking paint are as follows:

• Color: White liquid

• Suitable for all line marking machines

Additional technical and administrative conditions include:

• Bid validity of at least 90 days from the closing date.
• Firm and inclusive pricing, VAT included.
• Clear indication of delivery period.
• Submission of a completed checklist and all required documentation, including proof of previous experience, tax compliance, and B-BBEE status.
• Compliance with the evaluation criteria based on price (80 points), B-BBEE level (10 points), and locality of enterprise (10 points).
• Delivery to the specified address within the municipality’s jurisdiction.
