Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified service providers to submit bids for various infrastructure upgrading and service projects within Molemole Local Municipality. These projects include upgrading of streets, stormwater control, tennis court construction, sports facility development, and provision of security services. The aim is to enhance local infrastructure, safety, and community facilities.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses the following projects:

• Upgrading of 1.5 km of internal streets and grading at Sefene.
• Upgrading of Mokomene Ga Ramokgopa from gravel to surfaced roads.
• Construction and grading of Morebeng Combi-Courts (Tennis Court).
• Upgrading of Mogwadi Sports Facility (Phase 2).
• Provision of security services for a period of six months.

Each project has specific technical and evaluation criteria, with designated briefing sessions and submission deadlines.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the projects include:

• Compliance with CIDB grading requirements (ranging from 4CE to 7CE, or higher).
• Adherence to the points system (80/20 preference) based on technical and financial evaluation.
• Functionality criteria requiring a minimum score (typically 80%) for evaluation.
• Specific project-related technical standards, such as grading of streets, surfacing, and construction of sports facilities.
• Provision of detailed technical enquiries and adherence to briefing session schedules.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from bidders include:

• Relevant CIDB grading certification matching the project scope (e.g., 4CE, 6CE, 7CE, or higher).
• Proven experience in infrastructure upgrading, road grading, surfacing, and sports facility construction.
• Capability to meet the technical and functionality evaluation criteria.
• For security services, demonstrated ability to provide security personnel and related services for a six-month period.
• Effective project management and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
