DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WESTERN CAPE INVITES TENDERS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF THE FIRE DETECTION
SYSTEM, ACCESS CONTROL AND RELATED SERVICES FOR 24 MONTHS.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1SF or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Please note:
1.
Tenderers are required to have a CIDB grading of 1SF or higher (Grade 1: Fire Prevention and Protection Systems ) .
2.
Tenderers need to be compliant and registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank, CSD and on ePS; Tenderers need to be
compliant with the above and tax-compliant with SARS at close of tender.
3.
Prices shall be submitted electronically on ePS.
4.
Tenderers need to be represented by one employer/member (to accommodate interested Tenderers) at the “compulsory site meeting”
on the date and time stipulated.
5.
Tenderers not present at the site meeting will not be eligible to tender.
6.
Tenderers must print the attached tender document, inclusive of the BOQ and specifications and bring it to the site meeting.
7.
Tenderers to have a registered office and workshop within 50km radius from Cape Town.
8.
Tenderers to have a qualified SAQCC Fire Detection Practitioner with a minimum 5 years’ practical experience in the service in their
employ and registered in their company name.
9.
Tenderers who arrive late at the compulsory site meeting will be disqualified

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Engineering Training Centre- Karl Bremer
Hospital on 18 November 2024 starting at 12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
