CONTRACTOR GRADING OF 8GB OR HIGHER, POTENTIAL EMERGING CONTRACTORS WITH 7GB PE CIDB GRADING ARE
NOT ELIGIBLE TO MAKE SUBMISSIONS AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the CDC's Procurement Policy & Procedures
The 90/10 preference points system as per the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 shall apply: The allocation of
preference points will apply as follows:
(i)Price

(ii)Specific Goal which are B-BBEE Level of Contributor -10
Only tenderers who are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Companies and Intellectual Property
Commission (CIPC) (formerly CIPRO), and National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R1,500.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Bid documents for this Tender Process can be downloaded free of charge from the CDC website (www.coega.com) and the National
Treasury e-tender portal publication from 10h00 on 17 April 2026. The CDC will not take responsibility for any errors that may occur in
the downloading of documents. Bidders are therefore required to ensure that they download the full pack with no missing pages.
Bid documents can also be collected from the CDC Umhlanga Office, 18 Cranbrook Crescent, Umhlanga, Durban, from 17 April 2026,
from 10h00. A non-refundable bid fee should be deposited to Account Name: CDC – DoE; Standard Bank, Account No: 080 224 555,
Branch Code 050 017 and proof of payment is required upon collection of the bid documents. No tender document will be available at
the Briefing Meeting. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Bulwer Primary School, located at 135 Cecil
Street in Bulwer, Harry Gwala District, KwaZulu-Natal. The coordinates to the school are (29°75'80.87"S; 29°76'67"E). on 28 April 2026
starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Monday, June 1, 2026.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
