DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS KWA-ZULU NATAL ULUNDI INVITES TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RTI
OFFICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT, NONGOMA. CONTRACT PERIOD: 30 CALENDAR MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8GB or higher.

rendered. ( King Cetshwayo District, UMkhanyakude District or Zululand District, KwaZulu Natal). Documentary Proof required:
1. Proof of municipal Account depicting Physical address of the business ( not older than 03 months)2. Lease Agreement (05 points).
Tenderers must factor in an amount of 0.5% of the project value for Contract Skills Development Goals ( CSDG) as per Government
Gazette no.48491 of volume 694, when submitting their tender offers, in line with BUILD Programme.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R610.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Documents close at Department of Public Works, 709 Wombe Street Unit "A", Ulundi. Due to the document being too big for E-tender
portal upload, Bidders will only be able to purchase hard copy of the bid documents, at non- refundable payment in the amount of
R610.00, must be made for collection thereof as per banking details indicated below. Proof of payment must be produced upon
collection of the bid document. No document will be downloaded via E-Tender portal nor Departmental website. Bidders will be
provided with a memory stick with BOQ which must completed and returned together witth their bid document at time of close of bid.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Department of Transport, Nongoma RTI on 04
April 2025 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
