DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS KWA-ZULU NATAL ULUNDI INVITES TENDERS FOR UPGRADES OF FACILITIES AND
INFRASTRUCTURE AT EMPANGENI AREA OFFICES, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 7GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 90/10. 90 price. 05 points for ownership by black people. 05 points for enterprise within King
Cetshwayo, Umkhanyakude/ Zululand District
Only tenderers who Bidders must be registered on Central Supplier Database. contract period of 30 months. Due to document being
too big for E- Tender portal upload, bidders will only be able to purchase hard copy of the bid document at non- refundable payment in
the amount of R 610-00. Tender must factor in an amount of 0.5% of the project value for contract skills development (CSDG) as per
government gazette no.48491 of volume 694, when subitting their tender offers, in line with build programme. Method 2: Structure
workplace learning opportunities or other artisan learners towards the attainment of a trade qualification leading to listed trade (GG
no.35625, 31 august 2021) subject to at least 60% of the artisan learners being holders of public TVET college qualification
are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R610.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Department of Transport area office,
Empangeni on 27 August 2025 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
