MOSSEL BAY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR CONTRACTORS WITH A CIDB GRADING OF 7GB OR HIGHER,
AND WHOM ARE REGISTERED AS A HOME BUILDER WITH THE NATIONAL HOME BUILDERS REGISTRATION COUNCIL
(NHBRC) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 141 GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISED HOUSES (BNG HOUSES) IN KWANONQABA. THE
PROJECT ENTAILS THE CONSTRUCTION OF 141 GOVERNMENT SUBSIDISES HOUSES (BNG HOUSES) INCLUDED THE
RELOCATION OF BENEFICIARIES AND DEMOLITION OF EXISTING STRUCTURES. CONTRACTORS TO SUB-CONTRACT 15%
OF THE CONTRACT TO A LOCAL EME, QSE OR LEVEL 1 B-BBEE REGISTERED CONTRACTOR WITH A CIDB GRADING OF
1GB OR 2GB AND WHO IS REGISTERED ON THE CONTRACTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME DATABASE. CONTRACTOR
TO USE LOCAL LABOURERS ACCORDING TO THE EPWP METHOD AND REGULATIONS. THIS IS A MULTI-YEAR PROJECT
AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY 30 JUNE 2025.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5GB or higher.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R662.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
A set of tender documents can be obtained at a non-refundable cost of R662.00 including VAT. EFT Banking details and Reference Nr
can be obtained from [email protected]. Tender documents must be reserved not later than 16h00 on Thursday, 28 March
2024 from Sky High Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd at telephone (044) 873-2992 or e-mail to [email protected] and will
only be made available at the site and information meeting. Documents will only be handed to bidders who reserved a document and
who produce a receipt for the payment of the tender document.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at KwaNonqaba Community Hall, C/O Mayixhale
and Pakathita Streets on 11 April 2024 starting at 14h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
