MOSSEL BAY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SEPTIC TANK SYSTEMS
AND CONSTRUCTION OF ABLUTION UNITS FOR INDIVIDUAL HOMES IN BARTELSFONTEIN (MOSSEL BAY). CONTRACTORS
TO SUB-CONTRACT TO A MAXIMUM OF 10% OF THE CONTRACT TO A LOCAL EME, QSE OR LEVEL 1 B-BBEE REGISTERED
CONTRACTOR WITH A CIDB GRADING OF 1 CE OR HIGHER IN THE DISCIPLINE RELEVANT TO THE SUBCONTRACTED
WORKS AND WHO IS REGISTERED ON THE MUNICIPALITY’S CONTRACTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME DATABASE. THIS
IS A MULTI-YEAR PROJECT FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2027.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4CE or higher.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R798.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
A set of fully completed tender documents must be submitted on the original documents and remain valid for 120 days after the closing

BIDDERS (including all partners of a Joint Venture) WHO DID NOT ATTEND THE COMPULSORY SITE AND INFORMATION
MEETING AND SUBMIT A BID, WILL BE SEEN AS SUBMITTING A NON-RESPONSIVE BID.

later than 12h00 on Friday, 21 November 2025 from Mr Jahnerik Fourie or Mr Carel Kuun of Quantra Consulting at

only be handed to bidders who reserved a document and who produce a receipt for the payment of the tender document.

1.Company (or JV) Experience carrying a weight of 30 points.
2.References related to experience carrying a weight of 15 points.
3.Key Site Staff and Personnel allocated for this tender carrying a weight of 25 points.
4.Plant and Equipment allocated/reserved for this Tender carrying a weight of 30 points.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at D’Almeida Community Hall, Mossel Street,
D’Almeida (GPS coordinates S34.175061, E022.118514). on 26 November 2025 starting at 14h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
