COEGA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION UMHLANGA INVITES TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF GRADE R CLASSROOMS
AT NKANYEZI PRIMARY SCHOOL IN KING CETSHWAYO DISTRICT, KWAZULU-NATAL
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 4GB or 4GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who are comply with the CDC's Procurement Policy & Procedures.
The 80/20preference point system, as per the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 2000 shall apply. The allocation of points
- will apply as follows:
(i)Price - 80
(ii)Specific Goals (BBBEE Status Level Contributors) - 20
Only tenderers who are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), CIPC (formerly CIPRO) and National
Treasury’s Centralized Supplier Database (CSD) are eligible to submit tenders.

Documents may be collected during work hours after 10h00 on 14 July 2023
A non-refundable tender deposit of R200.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
Bid documents can be collected from the CDC Umhlanga Office, 18 Cranbrook Crescent, Umhlanga, Durban from 14 July 2023 from
10h00. A non-refundable bid fee should be deposited to Account Name: CDC – DoE; Standard Bank, Account No: 080 224 555,
Branch Code 050 017 and proof of payment is required upon collection of the bid documents. No tender document will be available at
the Briefing Meeting. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Nkanyezi Primary School, Nhlabosini Area,
Kwa Mbonambi 28° 27 36 S 31° 55 34 E on 21 July 2023 starting at 12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Monday, August 7, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
