UPHONGOLO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF WARD 8
SPORTFIELD
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5CE or 5GB or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who The following conditions will apply:
•Bids must be valid for ninety (90) days from bid closing date.
•Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the applicable Preferential Point Scoring System as set out in the Councils Supply Chain
Management Policy. The following form, MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8 and MBD 9 must be completed and submitted with the bid.
•Bids that are late or incomplete will not be considered, whilst the lowest or only bid will not necessarily be accepted. Bids per fax or Email will also not be considered.
•A valid Tax Clearance Compliance Status Pin Certificate or CSD summary report with a compliant tax status must accompany all bids.
•All service providers must submit their BBBEE Verification Certificate from Verification Agency accredited by South African Accredited
System (SANAS) or a Registerd Auditor approved by the Independent Regulatory Board of Directors (IRBA) or an Accounting Officer
as contemplated in the Close Corporation Act (CCA) in order to claim preference points.
•Letter fo good standing with compensation fund (COID) must be attached.
•Bids must be accompanied with CIPRO documentation to verify ownership.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at uphongolo municipality on 10 May 2023
starting at 10h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Friday, May 26, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
