Objectives

To appoint a qualified, financially stable, and technically competent contractor to deliver essential infrastructure improvements in the Fezile Dabi region. The primary goal is to enhance regional connectivity, road safety, and economic accessibility through the construction of a new bridge and the upkeep of surrounding access routes over a twelve-month contract period.

Scope

The project encompasses two main components:

• Bridge Construction: Full design and build of a cellular bridge on Primary Road P33/2 (R59) at Saltpan, Viljoenskroon.
• Road Maintenance: Comprehensive upkeep and rehabilitation of adjacent access roads to ensure safe vehicular movement during and after construction.

All works must be executed within a strict twelve-month timeframe, complying with provincial engineering standards, environmental guidelines, and quality assurance protocols.

Technical Requirements

• Mandatory CIDB contractor grading of 8CE or higher.
• Full compliance with all specifications, drawings, bill of quantities, and general conditions contained in the official tender documentation.
• Physical submission only; emailed or late tenders will be automatically disqualified.
• Tenders must adhere strictly to prescribed sealing, addressing, and delivery procedures outlined in the tender data.
• Attendance at a compulsory site clarification meeting on 18 September 2026 at 11h00.
• Payment of a non-refundable tender deposit of R1,282.00 in cash upon collection of documents.

Skills Requirements
