DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE INVITES TENDERS FOR DAY TO DAY EMERGENCY REPAIRS WITHIN THE REGION OF
LEPHALALE WATERBERG DISTRICT
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2CE or 2EB or higher. 1CE or 1EB Potentially Emerging
Enterprises who satisfy criteria stated in the Tender Data may submit Tender offers.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who ARE MILITARY VETERANS AND CSD REGISTERED
Only tenderers who CAN RENDRE EMERGENCY REPAIR WORK DURING AND AFTER WORKING HOURS, WEEKENDS AND
PUBLIC HOILDAYS TO MILITARY BASES WITHIN THE REGION OF LEPHALALE WATERBERG DISTRIC. CONTRACTORS
SHOULD BA ABLE TO ACTIVATE EMERGENCY TEAMS WITHIN A VERY SHORT TIME. are eligible to submit tenders.
CONTRACTORS ARE REQUESTED TO SUBMIT A QUOTATION ON THE DAY OF THE BRIEFING SESSION INDICATING THE
FOLLOWING
1. LABOR RATE PER HOUR (SKILLED AND UNSKILLED LABOR)
2. CALL OUT FEE
3. FUEL RATE PER KILOMETER
4. MARK-UP PERCENTAGE ON MATERAIL
CONTRACTORS MUST ALSO PROVIDE ACSD PRINTOUT AND A CIDB CERTIFICATE.
CONTRACTORS TO REPORT AN HOUR BEFORE THE OFFICIAL MEETING START FOR ADMINISTRATION PURPOSE.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at SOUTH AFRICAN MILITARY HEALTH
SERVICE TRAINING CENTER LEPHALALE UNIT HALL on 01 October 2025 starting at 08h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
