BREEDE VALLEY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR ELECTRICAL WORKS ON MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1EB or higher.
Only tenderers who
i.Who are registered with the CIDB, or are capable of being so prior to the evaluation of submissions, in a contractor grading
designation equal to 1EB or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered for a 1EB
class of construction work (proof of CIDB registration to be attachhed with the quote document).
Joint ventures are eligible to submit tenders provided that:
a)every member of the joint venture is registered with the CIDB;
b)the lead partner has a grading designated in the 1EB class of construction work; and
c)the combined contractor grading designation calculated in accordance with the construction Industry Development Regulations is
equal to or higher than a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered for a 1EB class of
construction work.
ii.Who complies with the Compensation of Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA) (proof of valid letter of good standing from
the Department of labour to be submitted with quote).
iii.Who are registered as Electrical Contractor in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act [Registration 6(4)] at
Department of Labour (proof of valid registration from the Department of labour to be submitted with quote)
are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 45 BARING STREET, WORCESTER on 09
April 2026 starting at 12h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
