BREEDE VALLEY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT WITHIN
THE BREEDE VALLEY MUNICIPAL AREA FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2028
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 5EP or higher.
Only tenderers who
1) Who has access to a competent Foreman/ Supervisor with a valid ORHVS certificate as responsible person (proof to be submitted
with tender).
2) Who complies with the Compensation of Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA) (proof (letter of good standing) to be
submitted with tender).
Joint Ventures are eligible to submit tenders provided that:
a)every member of the joint venture is registered with an active status with the CIDB;
b) the lead partner has a contractor grading designation of not lower than one level
below the required grading designation in the EP or higher class of construction
work; and
c) the combined contractor grading designation calculated in accordance with the
Construction Industry Development Regulations is equal to or higher than a
contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered for
a EP class of construction work or a value determined in accordance with Regulation
25 (1B) or 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R230.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at SCM boardroom, Supply Chain Building, 51B
Baring Street, Worcester. on 18 February 2025 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
