It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 9CE.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 9CE
Only tenderers who The tenderer completed the Bidders Disclosure Form (T2.2.2)
b) Tenderers are required to achieve at least 35% Contract Participation Goals (CPG) including a minimum 10% Black Women
participation and another 10% for Local participation of the value of goods, services and Works paid to one or more Enterprises (CPG
Partner/s) as agreed with uMngeni-uThukela before contract award. Tenderers who are the main contractor are not exempt from this
requirement and are still required to have a CPG Partner.
c) The Tenderer must have CIDB grading of 9CE are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R500.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.
A non-refundable tender fee of R 500 payable by Electronic Fund Transfer before collecting the Tender Document. Proof of EFT
payment is to be provided on collection. The said transfers may be made to

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Maphumulo Water Treatment Plant
(29°12’21,38” S; 31°02’41,65”E ) on 01 March 2024 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 12h00 on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
