ALFRED NZO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES TENDERS FOR MATATIELE WARD 18 & 22 WATER SUPPLY : SCHEME 6
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 6CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who submit bids for the following project
Only tenderers who Bids are invited from suitably qualified professional service providers to prepare and submit proposals to undertake
the construction water supply scheme for scheme 6_ Nyaniso, Magxeni, KwaQili, Matati Villages.
The project scope entails, but is not limited to the following:
•Site establishment,
•Supply and installation of 2.4km of 160mmØ uPVC CL16 Rising Main Pipeline and all associated valves and chambers,
•Supply and installation of 1.8km of 110mmØ uPVC CL16 Rising Main Pipeline and all associated valves and chambers,
•Supply and installation of 2.2km of 150mmØ GMS CL25 Rising Main Pipeline and all associated valves and chambers,
•Supply and installation of 1.81km of 100mmØ GMS CL25 Rising Main Pipeline and all associated valves and chambers,
•Construction of Reservoir inlet chamber including all valves and associated works, includes for core-in to 1ML RC Reservoir,
•Equipping of 2 Boreholes including borehole pumps, treatment and backup generators.
•Construction of a Booster pump station including buffer tank, backup generator and all associated mechanical and electrical
equipment.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R1,000.00 payable by proof of deposit or cash is required on collection of the Tender documents.
The bid documents are available at a non-refundable cost (VAT inclusive) to be collected at the supply Chain Management Office, Erf
1400 Ntsizwa Street, EMaxesibeni, 4735. Payments for Bid Documents must be done on our Municipal Offices (Revenue) at Reception
or through Bank deposit at First National Bank, Account Number 62024932974 and Branch Code 210821. All bidders are required to
attach the proof of payment receipts on their document when submitting.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at Mount Frere Disaster Centre on 07 June 2023
starting at 09h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
